The Planning Committee meeting has been cancelled.

The meeting dated Monday 4th October 2021 will not take place.  I have already been advised that 3 committee members will be unable to attend and therfore a quorum will not be possible.

I will add Planning Matters to the agenda for the Full Council meeting following, that is unaffected.

I have spoken with the Planning Officer - Alison Tichford this afternoon - Thursday 26th August 2021.

The meeting dated Monday 17th May 2021 will not take place.  We are no longer allowed to undertake Council business via tele/video conference and we are minimiseing face to face meetings while COVID-19 regulations are in force.

Delegated powers to the Clerk are in place should a planning application be presented that should be commented on,

Every household in Bayston Hill Parish that is on the electoral roll should have received a letter about a Housing Needs Survey from the Shropshire Council based Right Home, Right Place team.

There has been a very encouraging take up and to all those that have responded - a big thank you to all.  If possible we encourge as many residentsd to repond by mail or online so that we gain the best understanding of what are the future housing needs in Bayston Hill.

The Housing Needs Survey is usually a 6-week-long survey to determine hidden housing need in every individual parish (or group of parishes, where the parishes are smaller) across Shropshire.
The information we collect will feed directly into Shropshire Council’s planning policy and will help to determine the type, scale and location of future homes, to ensure we are providing the right kind of housing and support where it’s needed most.
