  2. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST

    Disclosure of any disclosable pecuniary interest in a matter to be discussed at the meeting and which is not included in the register of interests.  Members are reminded that they are required to leave the meeting during the discussion and voting on matters in which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest, whether or not the interest is entered in the register of members’ interests maintained by the Monitoring Officer.  The Chair will telephone members to invite them to re-join the meeting after the discussion and any voting has closed.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting. 

Coronavirus Meeting Arrangements - During the restrictions on public gatherings the Council has suspended all face to face meetings and devolved most functions to the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair of the Council.  Recent legislation has permitted the Council to hold remote meetings by video/tele-conferencing and the Council is exploring how these technologies may best be used whilst maintaining access to the public.  Details of any remote meetings will be advertised on this website and if any member of the public wishes to join a meeting they should contact the Clerk to arrange remote access.
