Healthwatch Shropshire highlights successes during challenging year

 

Healthwatch Shropshire played a vital role during the past year in keeping the public updated about the Covid 19 pandemic and the constant changes during the early days and weeks of the vaccination programme. Its recently-published Annual Report 2020-21, highlights the charity’s successes as the team continued to listen to people’s experiences of health and social care services during this challenging time and shared the information with decision-makers.

Share your Experiences of Using NHS Blood Taking Services in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin

NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have launched a new patient experience survey to gather patients’ views on the current blood taking service. If you have either used the service during the COVID-19 pandemic or before then please take the time to fill in the survey. By taking part, you will be contributing towards making the service work the way it should for people that are using it.

Two COVID-19 Request for Voluntary Help

The Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust are looking for people to join their new Response Volunteer Scheme at their hospital sites in Shrewsbury and Telford. Volunteers that can respond to service pressures and demands will provide key support to wards and departments, particularly in the difficult winter months, when we see a high rise in demand.
