You are summoned to attend the Annual Council meeting on Monday 15th May 2023 at 7:00pm in the Memorial Hall. J Hodgkiss Clerk to the Council 3rd May 2023
Agenda
  1. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN

    The retiring Chairman (if present) shall preside over this item, which shall be the first business of the Council. The Chairman will call for nominations and nominees shall indicate their willingness to stand. The elected Chairman shall sign a Declaration of Acceptance of Office in the prescribed form before taking the Chair.

  2. ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN

    The Chairman will call for nominations and nominees shall indicate their willingness to stand. The elected Vice-Chairman shall sign a Declaration of Acceptance of Office in the prescribed form before taking the Chair.

  3. CO-OPTION OF CANDIDATES FOR COUNCIL

    The Clerk to present elected members with details of any applications received. To follow the Council’s Co-option Policy and agree on allocation.

  4. TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES AND REASONS FOR ABSENCE
  5. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    In accordance with the Council‘s Code of Conduct, members shall withdraw from any discussion or vote for which they hold a disclosable pecuniary interest.

  6. PUBLIC SPEAKING/QUESTIONS AT COUNCIL MEETINGS

    To allow members of the public the opportunity to speak on an item listed on the Agenda up to a maximum of 3 minutes.

  7. MINUTES

    To agree and sign off the minutes of the Full Council meeting held on Monday 17 April 2023.

  8. REVIEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR INSURANCE COVER

    To receive any quotes and agree insurance cover.

  9. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF MEETING DATES TO THE NEXT ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

    To approve the attached schedule.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
