  1. TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES AND REASONS FOR ABSENCE
  2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    In accordance with the Council‘s Code of Conduct, members shall withdraw from any discussion or vote for which they hold a disclosable pecuniary interest.

  3. PUBLIC SPEAKING/QUESTIONS AT COUNCIL MEETINGS

    To allow members of the public the opportunity to speak on an item listed on the Agenda for a maximum of 3 minutes.

  4. MINUTES

    To approve for accuracy and sign the minutes of the Annual Council meeting held on Monday 9th May 2022.

  9. ANNUAL GOVERNANCE STATEMENT

    The Council is required to confirm its agreement with the statement of good governance with respect to the year 1 April 2021 – 31 March 2022 by 30th June 2022

  10. ANNUAL RETURN

    The Council is required to confirm its approval of the Annual Financial Return for the period 1 April 2021 – 31 March 2022 by 30th June 2022.

    Both the Finance and Personnel Committee (May 23rd 2022) and our Internal Auditor have reviewed beforehand.  Relevant signatures to be added once approved.  Public inspection notice will be published Tuesday 14th June 2022, period of inspection to run from Wednesday 15th June 2022 to Tuesday 26th July 2022.

  11. PAYMENTS

    To approve all payments, as per the attached schedule, including May 2022 salary payments.

  13. MEMORIAL HALL DEFIBRILATOR

    Request from Memorial Hall Committee that Bayston Hill Parish Council take ownership and responsibility for the defibrillator mounted on the Memorial Hall.

  14. CO-OPTION OF COUNCIL MEMBERS

    To receive advice from Shropshire Council Democratic Services and set a timetable for advertising for new council members.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
