    In accordance with the Council‘s Code of Conduct, members shall withdraw from any discussion or vote for which they hold a disclosable pecuniary interest.

    To allow members of the public the opportunity to speak on an item listed on the Agenda for a maximum of 3 minutes.

    -To approve for accuracy and sign the minutes of the Full Council meeting held on Monday 21 June 2021.

  7. ADOPTION OF COMMITTEE MINUTES

    - To adopt the signed minutes of the following Committees – 2020/21:

                 Finance Committee – 20/7,19/10 & 18/1.

                 Planning Committee – 15/6, 27/7, 24/8. 28/9. 16/11, 18/1, 8/2, 8/3, 29/3 & 27/4.

                Staffing Committee –  10/7, 30/11, 11/1 & 15/3.

  8. REVIEW OF FIXED ASSETS

    An updated inventory is presented for review and confirmation.

  9. PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF BOTH COUNCIL’S EMPLOYMENT POLICIES & PROCEDURES AND POLICIES AS LISTED

    to embark on a programme of review/refresh of numerous policies – Council to set order of priority and suggest a timescale.  See Standing Orders – pages 7 & 8 for those policies reviewed annually.

  10. REVIEW OF REPRESENTATION ON OR WORK WITH EXTERNAL BODIES AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR REPORTING BACK

    Where Bayston Hill Parish Council are represented/working on External Bodies to be confirmed and for regular reports on activities to be presented to Council.

  11. REVIEW OF ARRANGEMENTS (INCUDING LEGAL AGREEMENTS) WITH OTHER LOCAL AUTHORITIES, NOT-FOR-PROFIT BODIES AND BUSINESSES

    An annual check on arrangements where Bayston Hill Parish Council are working with any such bodies listed.

  12. REVIEW OF DELEGATION ARRANGEMENTS TO COMMITTEES, SUB-COMMITTEES, EMPLOYEES AND OTHER LOCAL AUTHORITIES

    To confirm any arrangements where delegation is in place.

  13. STREET LAMP UPGRADE

  14. WELCOME BACK FUND

    A progress report on allocation of potential funding to Bayston Hill Parish Council and next steps.

  15. GRANT APPLICATIONS

    To review applications received under the BHPC grant scheme.

  16. YOUTH & COMMUNITY BUILDING

    To consider an offer from Matt Sewell https://originalshrewsbury.co.uk/features/home-shrewsbury-artist-matt-sewell, a local artist, to use the YCB as his canvass.

    To approve all payments, as per the attached schedule, including June salary payments.

    - To pass resolution to exclude the public under Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, so as to discuss the following confidential matters;

    • Staffing Update – To receive and ratify an oral report from the Staffing Committee on filling the new position of Deputy Clerk.
    • Sickness/Holiday Cover Handyperson Team - Temporary Hire.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
