    To note the risk assessment for the event and to confirm the Council will cover the parade under its Public Liability Insurance

    To note and approve the updated risk assessment attached

  12. REVIEW OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INTERNAL CONTROLS

    - The Council will review the effectiveness of its systems of internal control and identify any areas requiring improvement.  (A summary of existing controls is attached)

  13. REVIEW OF PENSIONS DISCRETIONS POLICIES

    To receive a recommendation by the Staffing Committee with respect to the Pensions Discretions Policies adopted in 2016, which the Council is required to keep under review; (recommendation to Staffing Committee attached for information)

  14. FOOTBALL PITCH MAINTENANCE

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting. 

Coronavirus Meeting Arrangements - During the restrictions on public gatherings the Council has suspended all face to face meetings and devolved most functions to the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair of the Council.  Recent legislation has permitted the Council to hold remote meetings by video/tele-conferencing and the Council is exploring how these technologies may best be used whilst maintaining access to the public.  Details of any remote meetings will be advertised on this website and if any member of the public wishes to join a meeting they should contact the Clerk to arrange remote access.
