  8. CLIMATE CHANGE
    1. To note the growing body of evidence for the serious threat posed by climate change and to consider setting out initial action including a pledge to become carbon neutral by 2030 and to reach out to the community to develop action at a local level – see draft motion 124(a) and supporting documents attached
    2. To note the Key Priority summary of sustainability circulated by Cllr Mark Underwood 
    3. To note the proposal by SALC that NALC lobby government to unlock resources to town and parish councils to help them combat Climate Change in their own communities
    4. To note the list of funding opportunities for renewable energy schemes                           
    5. To consider supporting the Local Electricity Bill – see draft motion 124(b) attached
    6. To express support for the bill by writing to the organisers ‘Power for People’

  10. NALC MODEL EMPLOYMENT POLICY TEMPLATES

    To note the publication of Legal Topic Note 22, including a comprehensive suite of sector specific policy templates for dealing with employee discipline and grievances and to consider adopting the model policies with immediate effect

  11. TO AUTHORISE ALL PAYMENTS BECOMING DUE

    To pass resolution to  exclude the public under Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, so as to discuss the following confidential matters;

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
