    To confirm the accuracy of the minutes of the Full Council Meeting held on Monday 30 July 2018.

    • Invitation to collaborate with Pontesbury PC with respect to development of a Community Hub
    • Offer of volunteer services by York House residents
    • Planning Negotiation training – 12 Sept 10 – 4pm, (Cllr Clode)
    • Fundamentals for Councillor training – 26 Sept 5:30 – 7:30pm Shirehall (Cllrs Clode and Howells)
    • Be a Better Councillor – 27 Sept 5:30 – 7:30pm - Telford
    • Request by Connex-us to speak to Parish Council re Affordable Housing
    • Towns & Parish Council Forum (3 September)
    • Draft strategy for delivery of Herefordshire & Shropshire network for charging electric vehicles – to consider questionnaire responses
    • Workshop on Shropshire Council’s 4th Local Transport Plan, 19th Sept 10am, (please inform Steve Brown if you wish to attend)
  6. COMMUNITY LED PLAN

    To note the narrative responses to the Big Survey and make any comments for consideration at the next Steering Group meeting to be held on 11 September (venue to be confirmed)

  7. PAVILION SITE VISIT

    To discuss issues arising from Council visit to the Pavilion on 3 September 2018

    • Tennis court markings
    • Astro turf maintenance
    • Request to install football storage container
    • Proposed location of scout hut
    • Pavilion improvements
    • Skate park repairs
    • BMX repairs
    • Outdoor gym
    • General maintenance issues
  8. BATTLE’S OVER COMMEMORATION

    To discuss arrangements for a beacon to be lit to mark the 100th anniversary of the Armistice; to consider the purchase of a ‘Silent Soldier’ from the British Legion for a £250 donation; To note other commemorative events being held within the community and arrange to coordinate activities with the relevant groups.

  9. PAYMENTS FOR APPROVAL

    To approve all payments and salaries becoming due 

    NB. The Council will consider an updated list at the meeting including any invoices received since the publication of the agenda

  10. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

    To pass a resolution to exclude the public under Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 (S1(2)) and in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972; so as to discuss the following confidential matters.

  11. LOCAL PLAN REVIEW

    To receive a summary report on the meeting held with Shropshire Council Planning Policy team

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
