Dear customer

Please find attached the letter currently being sent to customers in relation to the A5 Preston and Emstrey landscaping work. I can confirm that the letter is being sent to 3,367 local business and residential addresses. Further to this we will be engaging with our strategic partners, road hauliers, local authorities and emergency services.

It would be helpful if you could share this information via your parish council members, web pages, and community/notice boards etc.

Kind regards

Dear all,

I was hoping you might kindly be able to help promote Doorstep Carols (Dec 15th, 6pm) in Shropshire?

If you could share our flyer (attached) on parish social media feeds and noticeboards and encourage community group uptake, I would be very grateful. Last year's event proved that this has huge power to strengthen communities.

The event started in Shrewsbury but has gone national - the same set list of carols will be played on BBC Local Radio across the UK on December 15th at 6pm for one hour. The idea is that neighbourhoods should come together and sing or play along. There are very easy parts for instruments too - all music and words is free online at www.doorstepcarols.co.uk

People are invited to donate to our partner charities listed on the website, or use the event to raise money for local causes - or just sing along with their neighbours!

We have a huge number of hub events going on around the country (see the attached press release) but it'd be great to ensure widespread uptake here in Shropshire, where it began.

Any sharing on social media, or perhaps linking with your own community organisations/pubs, would be much appreciated! Putting it up on your own personal feeds to tell friends about it will also help a huge amount! Everything we all do encourages more people to sing.

There are some great resources to download and share on social media on this page of our website: https://www.doorstepcarols.co.uk/get-involved

This is all about collaboration - everyone is welcome to 'own' this event and make of it what they will!

Many thanks,
