Christmas Tree on The Parade

A little distraction from our usual maintenance programme today.

Your Parish Council - 1st Tier Local Government, closest to the community it serves have listened. Your volunteer councillors and their employees have worked hard to bring you a Christmas Tree to mimic what took place in Trafalgar Square today - the lights were lit. It is not a gift from Oslo, Norway but many have given, Oswestry Christmas Tree Farm for smashing service and great value, Bayfield Vehicle Hire Shropshire Michael Money who laid on transport on Monday, the BaystonHill Jingleation team for recommending 4000 lights, Alan Roberts - Wizard with Electrics, and our Handyperson team, Roger/Rachael/Dave.

We hope the community gets a lift by this.

Shaun Jones Locum Clerk.
