Beeches Medical Practice - Coronavirus Update
24th March 2020

The Beeches Medical Practice

Dear Patients,

As you are all aware the current COVID-19 poses one of the greatest challenges that society has faced in recent times, we will all have to make changes to our daily lives over the coming weeks, to ensure that we work together to protect the most vulnerable members of society.

Our priority is to provide the safest care possible for all of our patients and also our staff. We have therefore been forced to make a number of changes to the service we provide. With immediate effect we are asking all patients, well or unwell, NOT to attend either Bayston Hill or Dorrington Surgery unless they have a pre-booked appointment that has been arranged via the telephone. All patients MUST telephone reception first; you will be offered either a telephone triage appointment or given appropriate advice and guidance. You will no longer be able to access the buildings.  During this current period of emergency measures many of our procedures put in place will be subject to short notice changes in line with Public Health England.

We would like to remind patients that there is absolutely no need to order your prescriptions earlier than usual, or to order more than you need and stockpile. Patients should continue to order their prescriptions as normal, when they are due.

We understand that many of our patients are anxious and need reassurance in these difficult times, we are here to help. We kindly ask for your patience, we are both overwhelmed with demand and will also suffer staff shortages as our employees self-isolate.

We would like to thank you for your continued support
