A second training session has been arranged for residents on how to use the public access defibrillator outside the Beeches Medical Practice.  This equipment has been provided to enable life saving care in the event of a heart attack.  Research has shown that even a few minutes saved when dealing with a cardiac arrest can make a huge difference in the chances and speed of a patient's recovery.  The training will be proviced by a paramedic from the WM Ambulance Service.  She will familiarise you with the machine, which is fully automatic and can only be used where a patient's heart has stopped beating.  If you would like to reserve a place on the course, please contact the Parish Clerk as soon as possible.  The Parish Council would once again like to thank the Tarmac Quarry for donating this life saving equipment to the village.
