    Disclosure of any disclosable pecuniary interest in a matter to be discussed at the meeting and which is not included in the register of interests.  Members are reminded that they are required to leave the room during the discussion and voting on matters in which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest, whether or not the interest is entered in the register of members’ interests maintained by the Monitoring Officer

  3. MINUTES

    To approve and sign the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on Monday 21 October 2019 and the emergency meeting held on 20 December 2019.

     

  4. CLERK’S REPORT & MATTERS ARISING

    To receive an update on any actions taken or outstanding from the previous Finance Committee meeting held on Monday 21 October 2019 not arising elsewhere on the agenda

  5. FINANCIAL POSITION BY COST CENTRE & CODE SUMMARY
    1. To review income and expenditure against projected budgets and approve any necessary adjustments or virements;
    2. To review the breakdown of cost centres following the restructuring of the accounts in 2019 and identify any appropriate adjustments required for 2020/21.
  6. REVIEW OF RESERVES AND CONTINGENCIES
  7. BANK RECONCILIATION

    To agree and sign the Bank Reconciliation for all accounts, including Petty Cash to 31 December 2019

  8. DRAFT BUDGET

    To review the provisional budget and make any appropriate adjustments prior to consideration by Full Council

  9. PRECEPT RECOMMENDATION

    To note the Council Tax Base for 2020/21 and make a recommendation of an appropriate Precept for consideration by Full Council

  10. FINANCIAL RISK ASSESSMENT

    To review the risk assessment and make any appropriate recommendations for consideration by Full Council

  11. KEY FINANCIAL TASKS

    To review and identify actions arising in Quarter 4

  12. PAYMENTS

    To approve and sign payments detailed on the payments schedule, including the salary payments made in December 2019 (list to follow)

  13. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

    To pass resolution to exclude the public under Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, so as to discuss the following confidential matters. 

  14. CONFIDENTIAL MATTERS
    1. To note new staff memberships of the Shropshire County Pension Fund and note the impact upon the projected budget 
    2. To receive any budget recommendations from the Staffing Committee
