    To receive apologies and reasons for absence

  2. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest

    Disclosure of any pecuniary interest in a matter to be discussed at the meeting and which is not included in the retister of interests.  Members are reminded that they are required to leave the room during the discussion and voting on matters in which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest, whether or not the interest is entered in the register of members' interests maintained bythe Monitoring Officer.

  4. APPOINTMENT OF VICE CHAIRMAN

    To a ppoint a new Vice Chairman to serve until the next Annual Council Meeting in May 2017

  5. MINUTES

    To approve and sign the miutes of the Full council meeting held on Monday 5 September 2016

  6. ADOPTION OF COMMITTEE MINUTES

    To note and adopt the minutes of the Plannig Committee meetings held on 25 July and 5 September 2016; the Amenities Committeee meeting held on 25 July 2016 and the Finane Committee meeting held on 11 July 2016

    A brief update on matters arising and any issues of interest to the Council arising since the publication of the agenda

    To note any progress

  11. DEVOLUTION OF SERVICES
    • To receive an update on the number and outcome of the consultation questionnires published in the October Villager magazine
    • To note a letter from Longden Parish Council to Shropshrie Council confirming their interest in supporting Lyth Hill Country Park
    • To approve a draft Expression of Interest letter to Shropshire Council and to consider the level of contribution(s) that might be considered as a maximum in 2017/18, subject to appropriate Service Level Agreements being signed by both Councis.
    • To note the numbers interested in forming a 'Friends of Bayston Hill Library' group and to authorise the Clerk to arrange an initial meeting.
  12. SALC AGM

    To authorise up to two delegates to attend and vote at the SALC AGM in Dawley on 19 November 2016

  13. CONSULTATIONS

    To consider the following public consultations:

    • Local Council Funding - Central Government Review
    • Planning Consultation - Shropshire Council
    • PHONE BOX CONSULTATION - To consider a proposal by BT to remove the public telphone call box on Lyth Hill Road and to consider the option to adopt it for £1
  14. COMMUNITY LED PLAN REVIEW

    To receive an update from Cllr Mrs Lewis

  15. SPEEDING CONCERNS

    To identify areas of community concern for submission to Shropshrie Council

  16. OVERGROWN HEDGES

    To note the number of complaints of overgrown private hedges restricting the footpaths and to authorse the Clerk to write to householders to alert them to the concerns of pedestrians.

  17. TRAINING

    To retrospectively authorise Cllr Gouge to attend training on 28 October 2016

  18. ELECTIONS PLANNING 2017

    To receive a list of key dates with respect to the Parish Council elections and to delegate authority to the Clerk to publicise the election

  19. MEETING SCHEDULE
    • Date of Adjourned Personnel Committee Meeting - To agree a date when the meeting commenced and adjourned o 26 September may be resumed
    • Meeting Scheuld 2017/18 - To approve a provisional schedule of meetins for the next year
  20. APPROVAL OF PAYMENTS

    To approve and sign all payments on schedule

  21. REPLACEMENT OF PHOTOCOPIER

    To note a report from the Clerk on the need to replace the photocopier and authorise the Clerk to negotiate a new service and hire contract with the curreent supplier to enable the exiting machine to bbe replaced

  22. EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

    To pass a resolution to exclude the public under PUblic Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 (S1(2)) and in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 12 of the Local GovernmentAct 1972; so as to discuss the following confidential matters:

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
