  2. TO ELECT A VICE CHAIRPERSON TO SERVE UNTIL THE NEXT ANNUAL COUNCIL MEETING

    To receive confirmation that Cllr Jones is willing to serve as Vice Chair or to elect an alternative Vice Chair.

     

  3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    Disclosure of any disclosable pecuniary interest in a matter to be discussed at the meeting and which is not included in the register of interests.  Members are reminded that they are required to leave the room during the discussion and voting on matters in which they have a disclosable pecuniary interest, whether or not the interest is entered in the register of members’ interests maintained by the Monitoring Officer

    To allow members of the public the opportunity to speak on an item listed on the Agenda up to a maximum of 3 minutes.

    To approve and sign the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on Monday 6 August 2018. 

  6. CLERK’S REPORT & MATTERS ARISING

    To receive an update on any actions taken or outstanding from the previous Finance Committee meeting held on Monday 6 August 2018 not arising elsewhere on the agenda. (To follow)

  7. FINANCIAL POSITION BY COST CENTRE & CODE SUMMARY

    To note the position of financial cost centres compared to budgets at the end of the second quarter and consider any adjustments required.

  8. BANK RECONCILIATION

    To agree and sign the Bank Reconciliation for all accounts, including Petty Cash to 30 September 2018

  9. FORECAST INCOME & EXPENDITURE TO YEAR END

    To follow

  10. REVIEW OF ASSET TARGETS AND RESERVES
  11. BUDGET PREPARATION TIMETABLE AND REQUIRED ADJUSTMENTS

    (To include annual GDPR budget; forecast asset renewal expenditure and new project budgets)

  12. 3-YEAR BUDGET FORECAST

    Preliminary draft to follow for discussion

  13. APPOINTMENT OF FINANCIAL SPOT CHECKER

    It is recommended that the monthly financial spot checks are undertaken by one member for between 4 – 6 months so that any pattern irregularities may be identified more easily.

Members of the Public and Press are welcome to attend any meetings of the Parish Council or its Committees, although there are occasions when meetings must go into private session when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.

Speaking at a Meeting - You do not have the right to speak at a meeting unless invited to do so by the Council.  If you wish to speak then you must contact the Clerk beforehand or make yourself known to the Clerk at the start of the meeting.
